john kompa - Subject: Dave has a point (Sep 6, 1999, 14:52:39 )
I think Dave has a point. They would not like to see their
own shares fall. So what could be possible strategies ?
Bill Gates is a bully, but how can he bully Open Source and
millions of users who have subscribed to Open Source and the
Freedom Of Information ?

Start their own distribution with partially Open Source ?
Introduce MS-applications for LINUX ? What would they want ?
Damage RedHat ? or worse: the reputation of LINUX (since MS lost theirs)?
This is not very likely, so whatever the rumour was - at the end it is a joke.
